Sunny and unseasonably warm today. What to do? Shall we rake the
yard? Nah....Clean the house? Uuuuuhhhhh...Join the masses and go
Christmas shopping? Hmmmmm, noooooo. Not that we aren't festive and all, but
geez-- it's crazy out there! We've heard scary reports that everyone and
their dog are out shopping-- good for the retail world but bad for our nerves.
;-) Eventually, we'll procrastinate enough and be forced to do it last
minute style like always. When that moment comes, our preferred spot is
and has always been The Portland Saturday Market. Crowds, yes. But at least
there are some fabulous one-of-a-kind gifts there. No malls for us, no thank
you.
This morning's accomplishment is an
updated neighborhood profile for the Mississippi Avenue area. It's simply
amazing how fast and furious this area is evolving.
