Lloyd Center Ice Rink Guide -  The Lloyd Center Ice Rink, also known as the Ice Chalet at Lloyd Center Mall, has been delighting children of all ages young and old since 1960.  Like Rockefeller Center in NY, Portland's indoor version of an ice skating rink draws crowds of skaters and spectators who enjoy the classic past-time of ice skating.  The Lloyd Center Ice Rink isn't just for casual skaters though, several professional ice skaters also train here.  It's a great place to spend a Portland afternoon or evening, and even if you don't skate yourself it is fun to watch other skaters and is sure to bring a smile.  

It's super cute to see an elderly couple skating hand in hand, or tiny little kids having a blast on their ice skates as they circle round the rink, laughing in delight.  And, this is a great way to get some exercise year-round in Portland, regardless of the weather outside.  Public and freestlye Ice skating is offered at very reasonable prices, so it's also an affordable Portland attraction when you're looking for things to do in Portland that won't break the bank.  You can skate for hours for less than $10!

Conveniently located inside one of the country's oldest and largest shopping malls, Lloyd Center Mall offers other fun attractions such as a movie theater (there's another larger one across the street outside of the mall,  too) and plenty of local dining and shopping options.  Lloyd Center is also accessible from the TriMet MAX light rail train station, so it is easy to get to on public transportation.  If you're visiting Portland or looking for fun Portland family events, spending an afternoon at Lloyd Center is a great option.

The Lloyd Center Ice Rink is a popular place in Portland for a birthday party, and you can even rent out the whole Lloyd Center Ice Rink for your group event or party.  Ice skating lessons are available, and a popular Ice Skating Camp is offered for children annually.

The Ice Chalet is conveniently located on the lower level of the mall across from Macy's so it is easy to find.  They offer Group "Learn to Skate" Lessons, a fully stocked figure skating pro shop, broom ball, group parties, birthday parties, Summer "Kool" Kamp, freestyles, dance, private ice, and public skating sessions.

Lloyd Center Ice Rink offers two different options for renting out our facility. Both option come with the entire facility being reserved especially for your group. Upon request, the Ice Cafe 
can be open.

Private Ice - Private Ice is for your group to go ice skating. If your skaters need skates they can rent them directly from the rink.
$260.00 per hour
$3.00 per person - skate rental

Broomball - Broomball is a game that is similar to hockey only played in your tennis shoes. We provide helmets, broomsticks, broomballs, and nets. You just bring your players and your tennis shoes.
$260.00 per hour, Includes equipment.
