So, with that, here are your mass transit options for travel on New Years Eve in Portland. TriMet service is free after 8pm on New Years Eve. Buses will run on weekday schedules, and MAX will be running extra late. Check schedules online at TriMet.org TriMet Schedule New Year's EveFirst off, I should probably mention that if you plan to imbibe, please don't drink and drive. Tri Met will help with that goal: ride free on NYE from 8pm until end of service. Buses, Portland Streetcar, and WES Commuter Rail will run on regular weekday schedules. MAX will run on regular weekday schedules with extended late-night service.
