Safe traveling in Portland on New Years Eve
Travel safely, Portland! Don't drive and if a car must be involved, designate a
100% non-drinking driver. Please note that biking while intoxicated is illegal,
too. We know how you are, Portland! Not only is biking drunk illegal, it's
dangerous and...dumb. So, with that, here are your mass transit options for travel on New Years
Eve in Portland.
TriMet service is free after 8pm on New Years Eve. Buses will run on
weekday schedules, and MAX will be running extra late. Check schedules online at

Celebrate the birth of the most inconsistently punctuated
