Portland Community College: Portland Community College is a popular Portland college for many reasons: conveniently located campuses in several areas of town for easy access to classes near your home or work, a wide range of courses: both in the classroom as well as on-line, reasonable tuition rates compared to some other local schools, and a diverse and vibrant group of students that make up the college community.
PCC is a great school for catching up on some of those college credits as you work towards your undergrad degree, and also a great place to get training and education in several vocational programs of study. They also offer several community education courses for fun and personal development. The quality of the courses at PCC is good, and unlike some colleges with detached professors, most of the teachers have real-world experience in their area of study, providing a relevant opinion on the subject matter that can be valuable to students considering a certain career or field of study. As far as college experiences go, PCC offers a fairly solid value for the investment of money and time.
