Features

University Park is home to one of the oldest schools in the area, the University of Portland.  As such, there is a large student population and much of the area feels young and vibrant.  Some beautiful homes and buildings and old growth trees make this a stunning neighborhood as well.

Adidas Corporation is a large area employer as is Swan Island industrial area.  Commuters here have many options: a quick and easy bike ride to downtown via bike lane nearly the whole way, great mass transit options via bus and the Max light rail train located on Interstate Avenue and a 10 minute drive to downtown Portland via car.

Residents use the Jantzen Beach shopping center (Target and Safeway), St Johns Safeway, Fred Meyer, Arbor Lodge New Seasons Market and have their pick of St Johns, Kenton, Cathedral Park, Arbor Lodge (and more) restaurants, boutiques, bike shops and of course, coffee shops.
